ArcaOS includes a new utility for managing LAN adapters and networking protocol bindings. The Adapters and Protocols object may be found in Computer | System Setup | Network.
This page will be enhanced to provide more information regarding the use of NAPS and how to work with various non-standard configurations, however the online help included with NAPS 1.1.7 (as delivered with ArcaOS 5.0.5) includes topics on concepts and special considerations which should prove helpful for most situations.
NAPS is open source software, licensed under GPLv3. Full source code may be checked out anonymously from the SVN repository, here: https://svn.arcanoae.com/naps/ .
